The 2nd folk tradition festival "Khranimie Vekami"
The 26th of April there will be in the Kremlin Palace in Moscow the 2nd folk tradition festival "Khranimie Vekami". The audience of this unique festival will be able during this evening to get acquainted with folk crafts, music, dances and other traditional folk culture of Russia.
The best and brightest groups and pop stars from the CIS will be performing at this gala concert. Combining the historical cultural network of Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kirgizia, Tadjikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

About a thousand artists will bring their most original and best pieces to Moscow.

Exhibits of folk craft from Russia
More than 40 exhibits of folk craft from Russia will be shown on two floors of the Kremlin, which will be shown from the start of the festival and during the intermission of the gala concert.
There will be not only songs, dances and folk round dances, the guests will also see traditional Russian craftwork of Gzhel, Verbilki, Khokhloma, Dymky, Zhostova and can feel in their hands the magical thinness of original Russian lace, the painted varnished miniature masterworks from Palekh, bright golden samovars, a lot of which were made in the 18th century already, the warmth of real Russian valenki, elegant examples of Russian birch woodwork, beautiful ceramics made in ancient Russian monasteries and lots more.

The special guests of our festival are Lev Leshinko, Nikolai Baskov, Nadezhda Chepraga, ensemble Syabriy will be surprising the audience and the participants with their musical greetings.
In case you like to not only look but also to take part in the event, there will be a quite interesting and exciting possibility for you to do very regional fun: join in Russian folk round dances 'Khorovod', ancient ritual tribal dances from the Eastern Slavic people.
The Kremlin event hall will turn into one big dance floor, where the round dance leaders in their hand crafted folk costumes will take by the hand whoever wants to take part in these musical dances.
